Search Terms
A name, place, or other term entered in a search box is sent to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Erie County Released Inmates does not keep or log those query terms on its own systems.
Messages
If you email us or send a contact message, we retain the information needed to answer. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Technical Data Collected
Routine server and analytics tools may record basic technical details when a page loads:
- Your internet protocol address
- Browser name and version
- Device category and operating system
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring website, when supplied
- Date and time stamps

Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so a deletion request can be reviewed.
